Center Associates Services

Center Associates' services are accredited by the State Division of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities. Your inquiries and all services are confidential.

Outpatient:
Individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, psychoactive mediations management and monitoring.

Evaluation:
Disability determinations, prescreening for psychiatric hospital care and psychological testing.

Emergency
24 hour availability, for Marshalltown call (641) 752-1585, and for Hardin County call 1-800-896-2055; after-hour hospital evaluations, (641) 752-8467.

Education:
Current trends in treatment, role of medication and psychotherapy, parent and family interaction, Center Associates role and function, and other topics upon request.

Consultation:
Case - discussions with other professionals on mental health issues.
Program - developing or reviewing programs that have a mental health component or implication.
Community - assisting in developing programs or identifying needs.

Mediation
Marriage dissolution, community, business and family. Staff trained in mediation: Michael Bergman, Mark Smith, Diane Baker, and Bob Moore.

Spanish:
Spanish speaking clinical and support staff are available to provide services.

Prescriptions
Should you need a refill before your next appointment, call the office at (641) 752-1585 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with your request.

Payment for Services
The sliding fee scale fees are based on household size and income.
Center Associates is a preferred provider for most insurance companies.
It is important that we have the correct insurance name, address, group, and plan numbers.
If your insurance requires co-pay, we ask that this amount be paid at the time of your appointment.
MasterCard, and VISA are accepted for ease of payment.

Missed Appointment/Cancellation Policy
If a consumer misses an appointment or cancels at the last minute the Center reserves the right to charge a fee.
A missed appointment is one for which a consumer does not come for her/his scheduled appointment.
A last minute cancellation is one for which a consumer cancels without giving a 24 hour notice.
